Thanksgiving Food and Gratitude

Tried a Cajun-style turkey from Popeyes for Thanksgiving
-it was super good!

Gratitude tree-once we got rolling on writing down our 
blessings, it was hard to stop!

Tom is always so sweet to me~

 I can't tell you all the feels I feel when I read this little leaf.
I am, perhaps, the most blessed woman; to be sealed to Tom, to 
have him in my life every day, to be next to him every night,
to love and be loved by him.  Heavenly Father be praised for bringing
Tom and I together. High praise and pleased, eternal gratitude.

Kimo left his wallet on top of the spare tire of Blue and then
forgot it there! He didn't drive too far with it balanced on the tire,
just from church to home, but it could have fallen off so easily
and it didn't. Add to that the fact that his wallet also sat out all night!
 A very tender mercy from the Lord!  
Gratitude to the Lord!

them away!  These little dudes play so many Christmas songs!
I will have to count them and update later.

This little one is displayed all year.

Too Many Toppings

This is what happens when we make our own pizzas at home:
cheese, onions, tomatoes, sausage and a
whole lotta mushrooms-kind of scary.

The pizza was defeated.

 

All Kinds of Emi Art

Emi has liked to draw ever since she was able to hold a pencil and whatever she draws, she draws in copious amounts!  When she was in elementary school, Emi went through a long phase where she drew oodles of butterflies and cats.  I cut out each little butterfly and cat and then mounted a bunch of them on a piece of black cardstock. Had enough little drawings to give 

both pairs of grandparents a set and keep a set for ourselves.

Here I challenged Emi to draw her stick people without repeating a pose.  I really like her stick people!---(I like the one dabbing on the bottom of the page!)   She was going to throw away this practice sheet, but I kept it.

Emi is also witty and we have an accordion file that is full of the many cards she has drawn for different occasions.  I'd like to get them printed up one day.

 

Feeding the Missionaries

Missionaries needed to be fed lunch at their two-day conference.

I was glad to help out!

Kimo has been printing up a storm on his 3D printer, 

making all kinds of cool things.

Temple and PH Preparation Program 2023

Glad to have been able to offer this program to the 

children getting ready to move up to the youth program next year.

All I really wanted was for the Spirit to be there to testify to the kids

that they are loved by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and whole lot of other people!  I hope they felt that!  

Group effort is always satisfying!

Once again, I have to thank my family for helping make this program

run smoothly and successfully.  Tom and I came to the chapel earlier in the week to practice setting up the projector and Kimo ran the computer for me.   Emi illustrated my PowerPoint for me with her stick-people drawings.  She is a gifted artist!  Thank you family!

So grateful to Heavenly Father for all the good things that happened tonight! All that we do, we do to help others see Jesus for who He is and to feel His Love.
