Stake Primary Temple Walk

It took a lot of planning and preparation to make this
Stake Primary Temple Walk happen, but it was
worth it---the activity turned out well and hopefully
helped the children who participated better understand
Heavenly Father's love for them and the all-crucial role
Jesus Christ plays in enabling them to repent and return
to live with Heavenly Father.

We made paint pallets that kept the paints from
tipping over or getting mixed up.

Supplies all ready for the Fill the Font relay!

Made oh, so many, tee shirts!

Senior missionary couple spoke to the children after the
Temple Scavenger Hunt.

Love this photo of the children making their
way to the temple!

Painting the background for the temple cutout and banner.

Talked about the Plan of Salvation and the importance
of the choices that we make while we live on Earth.

I'm Missing Kimo

I miss Kimo.
I don't like that I am used to him being gone.
Having said that:
This year we told Kimo we would
not call him at school, because every time
we did he sounded very irritated about it.
I get that--he's a busy guy doing school stuff!
Instead, we told him to call us when he could.
It has made all the difference!  Kimo calls
more often and sounds happy to talk
to us every single time he calls!
Win-win!
I still miss Kimo.

One of my favorite pics of Kimo.
I talked to a long-time employee of our local In-n-Out
and he remembers Kimo when he was this small.
We've been going to that In-n-Out for 25 years!

Kimo showing off some kind of something
that he made to be used on a lathe.

Carrying On

Felt strange going into the house with no mom there, but it was good being together with Paula, Bob, Sue, and RP. Made me wish we didn't live so far apart.

RP was having a hard time getting his
tie to look good...

So Bob tied it for him!

Jewelry to the left of me,
jewelry to the right!

This guy at the airport, gotta admire
his devotion to his team!

Mom's Memorial

Had Mom's memorial, April 30, 2022

Putting together Mom's memorial display felt good.

Red under the table

Mom painted this banner for their
four-church Face-Up group.

Mom did this watercolor

The women of Lickville Presbyterian Church did a
very nice job with the luncheon that followed Mom's memorial.
