YW leaders in our ward asked for some help with making decorations for their upcoming dessert auction. Their theme for the auction is Star Wars (held on May 4th!) and my Cricut went to town cutting out Star Wars lettering and silhouettes.

Learned how to achieve the scrolling effect, which was fun and easy, then used an online poster generator to make it big! This poster making program is cool, because in the settings you can input how many sheets of paper you want your poster to be, either horizontally or vertically. This poster is five sheets across, but I could have chosen 25 across if I'd wanted! My rolling tape applicator comes in super handy attaching the sheets to each other; a hand-me-down from Wendy Cox!

I will be making my chocolate pie and will attach a Darth Vader balloon to it then will add lettering to the pie that uses a variation of a quote by Darth, "Your lack of bidding disturbs me". Photo forthcoming. |
Also cut out a bunch of character silhouettes so they could be used as lantern table decorations-fun! |
