4th of July at the Sub Base

Decided to come back to the sub base for a 4th of July picnic.

Very quiet, relaxing spot with just a few families sharing

the beach.  Can't beat the weather; a little cool in the shade, just right in the sun.

Tom put his toes in the water!

Hamburgers, chips, chocolate pie and lemon/passion fruit bars-so good!

Kimo was the only one of us to get in and swim.

Two different sand castle styles.  This one is low to the ground.

This one is in the style of Chichen Itza-good job, I thought!
