Kimo is at the end of his second internship with NIWC.
These internships have been so good for him for many reasons;
he got to learn about diverse subjects ranging from air
flow calculations using fans and bending allowances for sheet
metal to how to procure materials in a timely manner.
Mike Anderson was Kimo's mentor-couldn't ask for a better one!
 |
Tom also mentored Kimo, teaching him about metal working, etc. Tom has a wealth of knowledge of just about everything having to do with building or fixing things. His God-given skills have blessed our family again and again. |
 |
Kimo scavenged most of the materials used to make the box; old metal cabinet shelving for the sides, fans from old servers, nuts and bolts from who-knows-where! |
